Emics Elder Care and Metro Elder Care Join Forces for a Revolutionary Era in Senior Empathy and Advocacy


January 1, 2024 – Metro Elder Care, Uniondale, NY – Metro Elder Care, specialists in advocating for and coordinating Medicaid planning and applications for Long Island seniors, is excited to announce it has been acquired by Emics Elder Care, as the first step in creating a new era for senior empathy and advocacy in relation to the Medicaid process.

Emics, a leading Certified Medicaid Planning™ and Senior Advocacy firm located in Uniondale, NY, and its umbrella of service organizations are deeply committed to elder care advocacy and ongoing care coordination in addition to the services that Metro also provides.  The 2023 acquisition, formally announced in 2024, will enable Metro to continue to operate as Metro Elder Care and also as Metro Elder Care – Powered by Emics.

Located in Uniondale, NY and founded by Guido Derlly, Emics has a mission to connect individuals with care in various settings while accessing essential programs.
