Elaine Quigley
Elaine Quigley is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, a licensed Insurance Agent/Broker, Certified for Partnership for Long Term Care Insurance, an active member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as a licensed member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. In addition, she is a member of the Nassau County Department of Social Services Advisory Council Committees.
Elaine graduated Fordham University School of Social Work in 1976. She has taught at the Board of Education, supervised group homes in East Harlem, worked as a Vice President at Computer Associates as well as having been a home care social worker for North Shore Hospital, Winthrop University, and for many Home Care agencies both CCHA and Long Term.
Elaine founded Metro Eldercare in 1995 as a way to meet the needs of families where Medicaid Planning becomes necessary and reasonable fees a must. The firm later added Insurance and Estate Planning as auxiliary services to assure total solutions to meet Metro clients’ needs.
In 2023, Metro Elder Care become part of the Emics Elder Care umbrella, and now has added a robust platform for tracking and managing case details as well as an expanded Care Coordination team to help expedite cases, remove obstacles for clients and provide ongoing client support. Elaine works closely with an extensive network of Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Adult Day Care Programs and Home Care Agencies. She also lectures at Home Care Agencies, Assisted Living Programs, Nursing Homes, Adult Day Conferences and Hospital.
Her extensive knowledge of Medicaid guidelines , retirement and estate planning and insurance options, combined with her awareness of available community resources, make her an invaluable and trusted resource.
